Liability Release Form
I, the undersigned, hereby release Fraser Lake Elementary Secondary School from all injury arising from participation in or incident to the above-named child at the Cougars Basketball Camp. I also authorize the camp personnel to seek and obtain medical aid for said youth if in their judgement such action is warranted, should the child sustain an injury while participating in a team-sponsored basketball activity.

Meet The Coaches
Kevin Mccarrell Former NCAA basketball player Kevin McCarrell will bring 17 years of basketball coaching experience to the camp. Kevin played collegiate basketball in Kansas for Heston College and Southwest University. His college awards including NJCAA 1st Team All Conference Defense Team NCAA KCAC Conference Newcomer of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year Kevin has previously coached high school, college and university men's basketball in Canada, and is now living in Salem, Oregon where he coaches his daughters' AAU tournament teams , runs camps and offers private lessons. Kevin brings a wealth of experience to the Cougars Basketball Camp.Tyrone Reeder
Tyrone is a graduate of NVSS. In 2002 Tyrone played for the Vikings who won the AA Provincial Silver Medal. In 2003, he led the Vikings in scoring, assists, 3-point shooting, and free throw percentage and was named team MVP. From 2005-2007, Tyrone earned a scholarship to play for the UBC-Okanagan Lakers. During university, Tyrone also coached an Elementary basketball team and the Grade 8 boys at Cedar Secondary School in Nanaimo. He is currently the coach of the Senior Boys Basketball Team at FLESS.For Further imformation please contact:

Purpose To become a great basketball player, each athlete must learn the fundamentals of the game. Our camp is designed to help players master the offensive and defensive skills necessary to become successful. This will be done by developing the abilities of experienced players as well as introducing the basic techniques to beginners. All of this will be done in a fun and exciting atmosphere.
DAILY ACTIVITIESEvents occurring during this year’s camp include daily warmup, Basketball specific strength and conditioning, fundamental skills stations, games, and individual contests for prizes.
PROGRAM Our camp is designed to help each player at their particular skill level. Through personal instruction, team drills, competitive games, and personal instruction, we aim to improve the skills of each young athlete and give them a greater appreciation of basketball.
FACILITIES Daily sessions will be held at the FLESS gym in Fraser Lake.
